Washtenaw Literacy offers English as a Second language (ESL) tutoring for adults. Tutoring is free and will help you pursue your goals.  We offer in-person and virtual tutoring.

1. Attend In-person ESL Community Tutoring.  Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced learners are welcome. Go to any location to start immediately.

2. Attend VIRTUAL ESL Community Tutoring.  Practice English ONLINE in small groups with tutors.  Click here for information.

Click the links below to register for the Spring/Summer Semester (May-Aug) of Virtual ESL Community Tutoring. Within 48 hours of registering, you will receive an email containing the Zoom link for your meeting.

Need a tutor at a different time or location?

   

  1. Contact Lara at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. or (734) 337-3442 to schedule an orientation.
  2. Meet with Lara to complete an orientation and to register for a tutor.
  3. Your name will go on a waiting list. 
  4. Respond to your volunteer tutor's phone call to set up tutoring sessions with your group.
