Christopher Taylor, Mayor of Ann Arbor

New York native Christopher Taylor fell in love with greater Ann Arbor thirty years ago as an undergraduate at the University of Michigan. Today his commitment to our community is deep and wide. Besides serving as the new Mayor of Ann Arbor, Chris is a partner in the law firm of Hooper Hathaway. His degrees in English and American History paved the way for Michigan Law School, but he is also an alumni of Interlochen Arts Academy and has a B.M.A. in Vocal Performance from Michigan. He and his wife, Eva Rosenwald, couldn’t be happier living, working, and raising their two AAPS children, Henry and Rub, here.  Christopher and his family live on the same block as Eva’s childhood home, where her parents still live, and Christopher’s parents moved to Ann Arbor in 2000, two doors down the street! Christopher served seven years as member of the board of directors for 826michigan, a literacy partner with Washtenaw Literacy. He also has served on the board of FestiFools. Both he and Eva are active with the Burns Park Players and Ann Arbor in Concert.
