
The Community Literacy Resource Center (CLRC) is a free resource for all Washtenaw Literacy tutors and learners! The CLRC is a small lending library full of multi-sensory activities, worksheets and books for adults. It is managed by Mentors.

Where is the CLRC?
The CLRC is located in the NEW Center, 1100 N. Main St., Ann Arbor, 48104, in Suite 112.

Is it open everyday?
Yes, the CLRC is open Monday-Friday, 9AM - 5PM. However, it is not staffed during these hours. E-mail

What is at the CLRC?
The CLRC houses books, worksheets, games, activities and multi-sensory tools for adults.
Can I keep the things I get a the CLRC?
Most items may be checked out for two months, then returned. There is a FREE shelf that holds materials tutors and learners can keep forever!
How do I check out materials?
Record the materials you check out in the Visitor's Log at the CLRC. PLEASE SIGN IN EVERY TIME, REGARDLESS IF YOU TAKE ANYTHING OUT! This allows us to show the use of the space.
Is the CLRC open at night?
The CLRC is open on the 15th of every month, 5:00-7:00 PM. A Mentor will be there to greet you, help you with materials selection or just chat about your Washtenaw Literacy tutoring experiences.
Can I make copies of materials at the CLRC?
A copy machine is available for your use at the NEW Center. The copier code is available by calling our office at (734) 879-1320 or email
