Support Literacy Now Luncheon takes place in mid-May every year. It is an hour-long lunch. Guests hear from Washtenaw Literacy learners about their struggles and achievements in the context of the programs that Washtenaw Literacy is providing in the community. At the end of the meal, guests are invited to make a pledge that supports free tutoring.

Volunteers are needed to ensure that Support Literacy Now lunch is a success:

• Table captain: volunteer to fill a table with guests who are passionate about literacy
• Attend Support Literacy Now luncheon
• Help publicize the event in the community
