Washtenaw Literacy offers two English as a Second language (ESL) programs for adults. Both programs are free and open to adults who live, work, or volunteer in Washtenaw County. ESL groups help learners build their English skills in a small group setting.

  ESL groups meet weekly and are open to learners at all skill levels.
  
  
• ESL One-on-One Tutoring
  
  ESL one-on-one tutoring matches learners with individual tutors to work on specific goals and skills.  Each learner and his or her tutor meet for two hours a week in public place.
