Are you passionate about literacy?  You can help make Washtenaw County more literate!

Run for Literacy!

Support Washtenaw Literacy by making a commitment to run either the 5K, 10K, half or full marathon in the April 3, 2016 Ann Arbor Marathon.  There are three easy steps to making a difference:

1.  Register to run or walk either the 5K (3.1 miles), 10K (6.2 miles), half-marathon (13.1 miles) or full marathon (26.2 miles) at this link.

2.  After registering, let us know that you are running for literacy by filling out this short form -- you will get an official Run for Literacy tee shirt to wear on race day and get email updates about the whole Run for Literacy team!

3.  Let your friends and family know about your commitment to literacy.  Ask them to support your run by making a gift in your name at this site.

For over 40 years Washtenaw Literacy has been changing lives through improved literacy. Since our founding in 1971, we have served over 20,000 learners and trained and fully supported over 10,000 volunteer tutors. Thank you for your commitment to Washtenaw Literacy's mission:

Believing that literacy is the foundation for a sustainable community, Washtenaw Literacy provides literacy support, free of charge, to adults through a network of trained tutors. It is our vision to eliminate illiteracy in Washtenaw County.
