Washtenaw Literacy Seeks Volunteer Web Support Print E-mail

 Web development professionals looking to give back to the community and support literacy are sought to support Washtenaw Literacy’s new learner-friendly website.  Day to day updates are handled by staff, however, occasional higher level support is critically needed.  The volunteer service for the Web Support/Developer Volunteer is expected to take 3 to 5 hours per month.

Supporters Launch Campaign for Passage of Ypsilanti District Library Millage Print E-mail

 (Ypsilanti, Michigan)      Citizens from the City of Ypsilanti, Ypsilanti Township and Superior Township have formed a committee in support of a library millage proposal recently added to the November 2nd ballot.  Community Supporters for the Ypsilanti District Library Millage was established to help inform voters of the exponential growth of library services along with a drastic loss in revenues due to the economic crisis.
